This small coffee bar is located at Joo Chiat Road a very hipster area I would say. I stumbled upon waved tech when I doom scrolling on instagram the night before my visit, they advertised it as a place where u can enjoy 6 kind of beans from famous roastery in Singapore. When I saw big name like alchemist, homeground, nylon and others, of course I must visit this place.

To my surprise this place is no ordinary coffee bar, because they have special technology they own called "Waved" their own brand Duh 🙄

As you can see beside the all-time famous la-marzocco the waved tools that do the "magic"

And here is the star of the show, this time I tried coffe flight with the recommendation beans called Java from Las Flores, Colombia.

First sip got me shocked, its a very strong taste that like slap you in the face (moreover I was having bad slept so the effect is amplified). But this is a good sign because the "strong" taste I tasted is very-very pleasant, I can really felt the body and the hint of berry, and the sweet aftertaste is so good too. Overall this is a very strong and very good coffee 👍

Just when I think this beans can't get any better I'm told to taste the second cup which is the "Waved" coffee. This time the taste is not as strong as previous one, but-but-but! The taste is somehow more pleasant in many aspect, the bitterness is not as sharp and as strong as the first cup but you can feel it slowly escalating in smoother manner, and because it's more smoother you can feel the bitterness and the sweetness almost the same time, and the sweetness linger more longer than the normal cup which according to my barista is more "rounded", which left me very confused,, HOWW???

She told me the very-very technical explanation which tbh a bit too hard for rookie like me to understand, but the bottom line is they use ultra-low frequency electromagnetic waves to make the molecule more smaller 😵‍💫 it's maximize the capability of your tongue to experience the flavour from the coffee itself. CMIIW

All-in-all, the experience is not only mindblowing because the bean itself or the technology they're using, but also more because how great the treatment I got from the barista. 🥺

Oh also I got free sample of waved cold press juice, which I drink too fast because I had another appointment and another coffe shop to try 😃 but it taste good also but can't say much about it.
